Our pre-made programming file for CHIRP is easy to use, and includes every single channel you need for British Columbia’s forest service roads, recreation, and more!
This programming file includes:
- All FRS/Family Radio System channels (general communications).
- All GMRS channels (general communications).
- BC/AB LADD 1-5 (Logging Administration and Dispatch)
- All BC/AB Forest Service Road/Resource Road/logging road channels.
- BC/AB forestry loading channels (the main five)
- Various BC off-roading channels.
- Various repeaters around BC, Canada.
- Coquihalla emergency/distress channel.
- NOAA weather/safety alert channels.
Additionally, every single channel on this file is commented/has notes explaining what it is, it’s use-case, and for repeaters, where they’re located.
Important note: Due to the nature of digital files, this can not be refunded after being purchased. This file ONLY works with CHIRP. No other program can take this file. This file does not work with Baofeng’s provided software, or any software other than CHIRP. Nyan Dynamics is not responsible for any damage to your radio: software, hardware, or other.
If you don’t feel confident programming a radio, we offer pre-programmed radios in the “Radios” section of our store to Canadian customers. We do not offer radios internationally at this time.
